Does the timer keep working if I lock my phone or switch apps?
Yes. Ropomo’s timer is timestamp-based, so it stays correct even while your phone is asleep. When the AI block ends, a local notification brings you back — that’s the whole point of leaving the screen.
Why is the human window so short?
Ropomo is the inverted Pomodoro. The AI gets the long work block; you get a deliberate, short handoff window to prompt, review, and decide. “Overripe” time tracks how long you linger past it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no login, no cloud, and no sync. Everything runs locally on your device.
I’m not getting notifications.
Make sure notifications are allowed for Ropomo in iOS Settings → Notifications → Ropomo. The app only schedules a single local reminder when an AI block is running.
How do I reset my stats?
Use the Reset control on the timer screen to restart the loop. Deleting the app clears all locally stored data.
